About Permanent Makeup

PERMANENT MAKEUP is a cosmetic technique which tattoos into the dermis as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup. PERMANENT MAKEUP is to enhance brows, eyeliner & lips.

Most commonly called PERMANENT COSMETICS, other names include MICROPIGMENTATION, COSMETIC TATOOING, MICROBLADING. These are all techniques of PERMANENT MAKEUP.

MICROBLADING is just a form of TATOOING. MICROBLADING is where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual device.

Another technique of Permanent Makeup is called POWDER OMBRÉ . This is a more filled in brow for  the client wanting a fuller look , but still soft.

Your PERMANENT MAKEUP will fade.

With the elements your face is exposed to, there will be some natural fading. Very important tips to keep your makeup looking better longer are as follows :

  • Apply sunscreen every day , at least an SPF 45.
  • Avoid any exfoliates on you face around your PERMANENT MAKEUP.

If you are in a water often , pool, ocean, use Vaseline over your makeup.

Eyebrows especially love moisture. Keeping them moisturized morning and evening will prolong your procedure. Moisturizing your eyebrows also enriches your colour and keeps them vibrant looking.

These procedures are PERMANENT with touchups anywhere from 1-3 years. Everybody’s skin is different. Following instructions will keep your procedures longer. Colour enhancements are recommended for those who wish to keep their permanent makeup looking as fresh as possible.

Traditional body tattoos do fade, however generally at a slower rate due to several different factors. Body art also is generally covered up with clothes most of the year and is not excessively exposed to the UV rays which fade tattoos on our face. Also our skin on our body is much more dense as compared to facial skin, which is much thinner.
